February 2010 :: I was asked to design a Drop box for Students, Staff and external users to upload large document for applications portfolio and other large data that cannot be emailed, but only allow KU Staff to view files uploaded in their own deportments folder and the “other” folder. Another specification was for it to have a progress bar.
The application is using a PHP progress bar so users are able to see the file upload; I coded using the php_uploadprogress.dll module along with AJAX calls for progress bar updates. The server is running Windows Server 2008 R1 32bit.
